heat only the space around me to save
electricity the planet my soul
wanders
catalogs the day’s
plans pains purchases
weary of wanting but some things
want wanting maybe need
wanting hence flip scroll list resist
leftover cookies calling
my name and what’s in it anyway
having changed so
many times but maybe for good
too many minutes
pass time passes too
quickly tasks get crossed
off but not all not enough but still
some hot tea by day and wine by night
slow down help me move
slowly savoring if not all then
a crystal moment here
and there I am warm
